抄録

As an alternative subjective evaluation of coded picture quality, collaborative evaluation using Internet is newly proposed. Except for observation conditions, evaluating environment including evaluation time, picture presentation sequence and evaluation word is matched with that of ITU-R recommendation. According to experimental result using 14 coded pictures, we can determine the superiority of picture quality from scores of 60 voluntary testers and predict MOS of picture quality from scores of 80 voluntary testers.
