Magnetic Field Effects on Mice Behavior Using Elevated Plus-Maze Test

This study describes the effects of magnetic fields on small laboratory animals, specifically mice. We investigated the effects of a magnetic field at a frequency of 400 kHz on these experimental animals. Our findings revealed that a magnetic field with a frequency of 400 kHz and a strength of 10 A/m stimulated locomotor activity in mice. Furthermore, an examination of monoamine neurotransmitter concentrations in the mouse brain under the same conditions showed significant differences in some neurotransmitters related to mood and emotion. To clarify these effects, we performed an elevated plus-maze test on mice subjected to the same conditions of magnetic fields.
