Estimation method of BCD luminance reflecting visual characteristics and examination of its suitability

抄録

This study aims to develop a prediction model to evaluate the visual environment based on the visual system. In this paper, we propose a prediction method of BCD luminance for discomfort glare, that reflects visual characteristics such as the scattering characteristics and the receptive field area of the visual system. The method is based on the hypothesis that BCD is determined by the amount of incident Light flux to one receptive field on the retina. The verifying method is shown also in which the validity of the prediction to the experimental result was verified by the error of the estimation.
