抄録

We have already proposed generic shear multi-mass models (S models) for vibration analysis models of the super high-rise RC buildings. In this study, the bending deformation component of the vibration analysis models are analyzed and then we propose the generic bending shear multi-mass models (BS models). Natural periods and modal shapes of higher modes of the BS models are consistent with those of the moment-resisting frame models. Proposed generic BS models are validated by the nonlinear earthquake response analysis for pulse type input wave with short period, where the higher modes are stimulated. (Figure Presented).
