Theoretical analysis on the worst case finishing time of vehicle movement in an automated guided vehicle system

Abstract

Recently, automated guided vehicle (AGV) systems have been popular in factories. In general, their performance is evaluated only by simulation or some similar method. In this paper, the worst case finishing time of vehicle movement is analyzed theoretically by the maximum travel time of vehicles in the AGV system.
