Abstract

In order to prepare the novel thermoresponsive polymers exhibiting more hydrophobic than PIPAAm, we have developed poly(N-N'-alkylcarbamido) propylmethacrylamide). Phase transition temperature of the novel polymers was influenced by molecular weight and concentration of the polymer solution. We also evaluated behavior of the separation of peptides, utilizing the novel polymers grafted silica particles as chromatography matrix.
