Abstract
The aim of this study is to experimentally investigate shrinkage properties of blast-furnace slag blended cement concrete (BLS-concrete, hereafter). For this purpose, restraint cracking tests for concrete were conducted at three ambient temperatures, 10 °C, 20 °C and 30 °C. The experiments showed that shrinkage cracking resistance of BLS-concrete was better than normal concrete regardless of ambient temperatures, andBLS-concrete had the same concrete strength development as normal concrete.
