Abstract
The structure of P double prime phase in wustite Fe//0//. //9//0O has been observed in the atomic level. Structure images show that clusters with size 2 alpha //O multiplied by 2 alpha //O ( alpha //0: lattice parameter of the fundamental cell) make a regular arrangement belonging to the two dimensional space group pg and giving a rectangular cell with dimensions 5 alpha //0 multiplied by 2. 5 alpha //0. In the cluster tetrahedral iron atoms exist, but their arrangement is irregular. These results are compared with the structure model presented by Anderson and Sletnes.
