Abstract

For people today, who face diverse and increasingly complex risks, it is critical that individuals be able to examine risks and manage them across disciplines. In this study, we report on a framework for STEAM deployment of risk management education developed for secondary school students around 17 years old. The format, which includes lecture and workshop, was used as the teaching package to make the learning practical, and the keywords of each part were converted into a STEAM table by incorporating the STEAM educational concept. This is expected to motivate participants to attend lectures, facilitate active learning after the course, and enable them to understand multiple risks in different fields within the same framework to gain a bird¶s-eye view of multiple risks. This standardized package, which can be used regardless of the environment of each site, is expected to be deployed internationally.
