Abstract

It is necessary to take into the room natural wind outside in order to make or maintain a healthy life in the house within, to give a cool feeling to the residents, but there are cases where ventilation effect is reduced due to wind direction angle. When that perform a wind tunnel to confirm the accuracy of calculating OpenFOAM, was compared with the value of the indoor wind velocity, we was confirmed that the results of experiment and simulation is roughly correspond. The case study using OpenFOAM, were calculated the increase of the indoor wind velocity when analyzed with respect to the indoor air to the target housing, were subjected to a wing wall and expansion of the inlet opening area.
