Abstract

As a promising renewable energy, dye sensitized solar cell (DSSC) has been developed to improve performance of every material and system. From the viewpoint of dye metal complexes/organic compounds, we have reported on chiral Schiff base (salen-type) metal complexes and induced CD from chiral Schiff base metal complexes involving azo-dye groups to Au nanoparticles, and recently we have also conducted research on their optical interactions. In this paper, we showed the results of Z-scan NLO measurements for the analogous achiral organic ligands and metal complexes.
