Abstract

The D-E Hysteresis curves of the PVDF/PA11(80/20) blends were measured. The remnant polarization increases as shearing force becomes larger. Therefore nano-dispersed structure has larger remnant polarization. The complex piezoelectric constant e31 was measured from room temperature to 180°C. The highest value of e31 was observed for the case of PVDF homopolymer at all range of temperature. This may be because crystal of PA11 is not γform that is ferroelectric. Thus, the shearing condition must be changed in order to obtain better blend material.
