Effect of an instruction manual using an e-learning system on the improvement of assembly work

Abstract

Extensive knowledge of products and manufacturing technologies is essential for improving the production process. In addition to knowledge, the ability to optimize the process from basic understanding is required. Taking the productivity improvement in the assembly work as an example, this study investigated the difference between the paper manual and the video manual and its effect on training for the improvement of the production process. As a result, the paper manual was effective in understanding the basics, and the video manual was effective in optimizing the process.
