Abstract

Dielectric and conductive frequency spectra were measured for composites of styrene-butadiene-rubber and various carbon black (SBR/CB).For every type of CB sample new relaxation appears at percolation threshold. The threshold depends on the structure of CB. The percolation occurs at lower content for CB of higher structure. Observed spectra show two relaxation processes and these relaxations have different behavior. For thermal black samples low frequency process diminishes while high frequency process remains at high phr. We will discuss the mechanism of these relaxation processes for CB cluster.
