Abstract
The charge transfer in liquid alloys discussed previously in terms of the partial structure factors in the low-wavelength limit is modified using the Thomas-Fermi screening of a point charge. This may enable us to apply it to compound-forming liquid alloys which have a considerable volume contraction. Numerical calculations are carried out for liquid Na-K and Na-Hg alloys.
