Abstract
The aim of this study is to quantitatively grasp the effect of excess fuel gas on the temperature distribution and heat flux rate of the fire plume ejected from an horizontal opening when the amount of combustible gas generated in the compartment was changed. In this study, a series of medium-scale fire experiments were carried out. Compared with the former research, the effect of excess fuel gas on the temperature distribution and the behavior between fire plume ejected from gas burner and fire plume ejected from opening is elucidated.
