Abstract

This study validated the accuracy of the action difficulty evaluation method based on the relationship between the results of seismic response analysis and the results of the questionnaire survey for residents in more than 20 super high-rise residential buildings of different building types, for which questionnaire surveys on action difficulty were conducted after major earthquakes. Shaking table boarding tests were conducted using simulated acceleration of floor responses in earthquake-resistant and seismically isolated buildings. Differences in the physical sensation depending on the aseismic types of buildings were discussed.
