Abstract
In this study, underfloor ducted heating houses with roof-air-based PVT was investigated to verify the insulation specifications that achieve both energy efficiency and thermal comfort. Simulation model was constructed to simulate the behavior of the system, and multiple patterns of insulation specifications were analyzed for the standard detached house in region 5-6 defined in energy-saving standard, and the heat load during heating, system power consumption, and indoor comfort were evaluated. Furthermore, the amount of heat loss under the floor was determined, and cost-effective insulation specifications of the foundation were clarified.
