Abstract

In this study, we propose simple temperature evaluation models for an unprotected steel beam placed inside drywall assemblies consisted of gypsum boards in a case of fire, which can be used for practical fire resistant design for steel structures. From the comparison with the calculation and the past experimental results, it was clarified that the safe side estimation on the steel temperature was obtained by the proposed calculation model.
